Find your way through a shopping complex that was never meant for you.

By day, lights flicker across deserted halls, inviting exploration. By night, employees roam the aisles looking to "assist" you. Silence, teamwork, and quick thinking are your only tools for survival.

Escape Alone or With Friends

Team up with friends to escape a store that wants you to shop forever.

Plan your next move using proximity voice chat and walkie-talkies. Piece together environmental clues and decode cryptic notes to find your next destination.

Split up and look for whatever may help you escape. Search the mall for tools and items, and make sure you can slip away when danger comes.

Solve puzzles to unlock new paths, hopefully guiding you to an exit.

Immersive Stealth and Survival

When the lights go out, employees are on the look out for shoppers who need "assistance" after hours. Cut communications to stay silent, or risk getting caught.

Hide in vents, progress without making noise, use flashlights to fight the darkness but be careful as the batteries are limited.

Avoid the mall's traps and aberrations, they will gnaw at your mind until you can't trust what you see or do.

Every error might lead the store's abominations straight to you. Find fuses to turn the lights back on and hopefully start a new day.

“Bloodgrounds aims to provide complex systems, interesting interactions and a finely tuned level of challenge. We want to get things right and create the best possible experience for everyone who wants to enjoy our game. To achieve this, we rely on regular feedback from our players - across all types and playstyles. A range that limited playtests are simply not able to cover. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“With our aim set mostly on balancing and polishing the UX, we are looking to keep this early access phase short and sweet: Three to six months should get us where we want to be. However, we don’t want to artificially limit ourselves with a strict time limit. EA is done, when our players are satisfied with the experience we deliver.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The version of Bloodgrounds that we release into Early Access features the core gameplay as envisioned when we started - it is, for all intents and purposes - a complete game.

However, there is always room for polishing - especially when it comes to user experience and balancing. This is what we want to work on with the help of our community. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently do not plan to increase Bloodground’s price once we complete early access.

However, we will be offering significant discounts during early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Aside from the Steam Community hub, we have a dedicated Discord server to cultivate a continuous and direct dialogue with our players. Additionally, we have an integrated reporting tool that allows players to post feedback and bug reports straight from the game directly to our Trello board.”
