Why Early Access?

“We owe much of the success of our original shapez title to the feedback and continued support of our fans, and that is a legacy that we want to continue with shapez 2. We’re involving the community as much as possible in the development process, in order to create a game that you love as much as we do.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’re not sure yet – we’ll be looking to release whenever we’re satisfied that the game is at a high enough quality. The earliest we are considering is late 2025 if everything we have in mind is fully implemented, including modding support and achievements.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We would like to provide multiple major updates to the game throughout the Early Access period, so for the full release we’d like it to feature significantly more content. Whilst not guaranteed, we attempt to include as much of it as possible – as well as additions from you, our community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game will be fully playable, polished and largely bug-free upon the Early Access release, and we estimate that there will be at least 25 hours of content to play through. So while we are planning to add more features and improvements, the game is ready and meant to be played already. All features mentioned in the "About" section are already supported.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We’re planning to increase the price upon the 1.0 release as additional content and features are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We listened to and involved our community from the very first day of development already, and we don’t expect that to change any time soon. Every major feature idea is presented to the community first, to build something you actually want!
